Board of Directors
George Morris Barbara Lee Ulrica Fontenot Herbert Steptoe Our Founder, Dillon WestDillon is our founding CEO and has been in long term recovery since 1992. With 30 years of sobriety, he entered the field of addiction by Divine intervention. His 25+ years of work experience in the substance use disorder field has included work in a variety of program director and counselor positions at Texas Criminal Justice treatment facilities and other addiction treatment programs.
Dillon is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) as well as a Certified Criminal Justice Professional (CCJP). He was among the first graduates of the Texas Treatment Initiative Program endorsed by the ate Governor of Texas, Ann Richards. For eight years Dillon served as the Board Chair of the Houston Winer's Circle Peer Support Network, a recovery support group that assists formerly incarcerated individuals with substance use disorders as they reenter the community. Later he served as a board chair for the statewide Winner's Circle with 20 chapters across the state. Dillon served as Texas' lead statewide training facilitator and has trained over a thousand recovery coach and recovery coach trainers from across the state. Unfortunately, Dillon passed away in June 2022. His legacy lives on at CRWR. |
