Recovery Coach Training
The purpose of the Recovery Coach Training is to train and certify qualified participants as Peer Recovery Coaches to work as staff and volunteers with people with substance use disorders. Recovery Coaches enter into ongoing mentoring relationships that help folks who are in recovery or who are considering recovery from substance use disorders to produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses, or organizations.
46 hours of training is provided by the Center for Wellness and Recovery across four domains: 1. Advocacy (10 hours) 2. Mentoring/Education (10 hours) 3. Recovery Support (10 hours) 4. Ethical Responsibility (16 hours) At the end of this training participants will be able to:
